Prof. Hoffmann gave a talk about the „hypocritical consumer“ which illustrated concepts and empirical insights about moral rationalizations, moral decoupling and moral licensing. In this year, the general topic of annual conference of the network consumer research was „the dark side of consumption – old problems, new challenges“.
