Dr. Carolin Krautz was employed as external doctorate at the Department of Marketing at the Kiel University. She finished her study of business administration with focus on marketing, cross-cultural marketing and strategic management at the Technical University Dresden and at the École supérior de commerce Rennes (France) in 2012. She wrote her dissertation in cooperation with Volkswagen AG, where she supported mainly the brand and marketing strategy of the brand Volkswagen. Her research interests lie in the area of cross-cultural consumer behavior and brand management.
