Short CV

Claudia Symmank M.Sc. was an external doctoral student at the Department of Marketing at the Kiel University since April 2014. She finished her study in business administration with focus on marketing research, cross-cultural marketing and strategic management at the Technical University Dresden in 2012. Since 2013, she is scientific associate at the Technical University Dresden. With her work as project coordinator of the BMBF-project "Innovative Strategien zur Überwindung impliziter produkt- und personenbezogener Hemmnisse des Konsums gesunder Lebensmittel" she gained experiences in health marketing and as deputy project leader of the project "InnoTech4Health", which was funded by the European Social Fund, in the development and implementation of innovative medical technologies. Since April 2014, she works as project member of the BMBF-project "Determinants of Diet and Physical Activity" at the Institute for Natural Materials Technology at the Technical University Dresden and investigates influencing variables of food on the buying behavior of consumers.
